Product Support Specialist

PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Do you like being the "go-to" person on software and technology? Do you have strong analytical and debugging skills but are also great communicator?  Want to support software development by using tools like linux shell and git?

Our Product Support team provides second-tier support for our software products. We help software developers make routine changes to our software. We monitor the business and operational trends for our products, narrow root causes of problems, and coordinate the response to incidents. When our first-tier support can't solve a customer problem, they come to us for answers. The role:

Product Support Analyst:

Who you are: 

  • You have 1-2 years experience in technical product support and/or software quality assurance
  • You have the ability to quickly learn and use technology
  • You have experience using mobile devices (phones, tablets) and mobile browsers
  • You are customer focused, detail oriented, and have a passion for quality
  • You have practical experience with internet technologies (HTTP, DNS, HTML) and related technologies (PHP, javascript, SQL, git)
  • You have the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and learn from others
  • You have experience in troubleshooting, narrowing down defects, finding reproducible test cases, and analyzing root causes

What you’ll do: 

  • Work closely with customer support, business units, internal product teams and external support teams
  • Field questions, take requests, and investigate problems related to our software products
  • Troubleshoot, narrow, and determine root cause of problems
  • Implement software and configuration changes to address internal and external requests
  • Contribute to existing documentation and offer input on process changes
  • Write bug reports for and escalate feature requests to product teams
  • Learn and adhere to team best practices whenever applicable
  • Embrace the team's agile practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
